So the governor says it's all love and no bad blood, but he just swapped his deputy for a new running mate because of "professional legal advice." If there's no quarrel, why is the man being eased out like an expired SIM card? This is the same old Nigerian politics where loyalty ends where ambition begins, and we're expected to clap like villagers at a town hall. Which deputy in this country actually believes that "consent" line when their political career gets terminated without a public fight?
