That UNIZIK lecturer matter, make I talk my mind as HR person

That UNIZIK lecturer assault story dey bother me since morning. The way dem dey handle am, separate probe for misconduct and mob attack, e show say the system still dey learn. From where I sit in Abuja, I don see this kind thing play out before for government parastatal logic. When one person do bad thing, instead of addressing the root, everybody just dey shout and the real issue go hide.

The lecturer wey allegedly molest the student, dem suppose investigate am properly. But the mob wey attack am too, dem no better. Two wrongs no make right, but our anger dey justified. As a working mother, I dey think about the female students wey dey carry this kind burden alone. The policy says one thing, the reality says another. The system is slow but it moves eventually, we just need to keep pushing.

I just hope the rights group wey dey demand separate probe no go tire. Because when justice delay, the victim dey suffer pass. How many more girls go fit speak up if dem see say nothing dey happen? Truly, this one need all of us to watch am well.
