Shehu Sani just exposed why opposition governors dey run to Tinubu

Former Senator Shehu Sani don talk am finish this morning on Eagle 102.5 FM Ilese-Ijebu. He say Gov Ademola Adeleke of Osun, Gov Charles Soludo of Anambra and Gov Alex Otti of Abia dey back Tinubu because of political survival, not because dem believe in am. According to Sani, dem look at both sides and conclude say na Tinubu dem go identify with because there is "no credible and viable alternative" for opposition.

Sani even break am down for each governor. Soludo cannot align with Atiku because Atiku no get support base for Anambra, and if he fully align with Peter Obi e go "cage" am to South-East. For Otti, Sani say Abia voters may back Obi in 2023 but Obi influence limited to South-East, so Otti dey take Abia to "the mainstream." And Adeleke? Sani say despite winning Osun with over 511,000 votes on Accord platform, Tinubu don help stop EFCC from freezing Osun account, so the relationship na pure transaction. "Adeleke needs Tinubu. Tinubu needs Adeleke," he declare.

This one just show say Nigerian politics na pure business. Dem no get ideology, dem just dey calculate wetin go keep dem for seat. But the question wey dey my mind be say, if opposition governors dey run go Tinubu now, who go challenge am for 2027? Abi na only Atiku and Obi go dey fight the battle alone?
