Wike vs Kingibe: Why I support the minister on this one

Nyesom Wike has vowed never to work with Senator Ireti Kingibe and honestly, I don't see anything wrong with that. The man said it plainly at a press conference in Abuja, that Kingibe laid a bad foundation and has done nothing for the FCT. He even said she may not return in 2027 because the people are ready to fail her.

Wike's exact words were, "I won't work with her because she laid the bad foundation; she has done nothing. The people know she has done nothing, and they're ready to fail her in the next election." He also told her to stop appearing on Channels TV and Arise TV because it won't change the mindset of the people. The woman keeps talking about working with him, but she's the one making laws for the FCT as a senator. If she knew flooding was a problem, why didn't she do something about it from her own side?

I know some people will say Wike is too aggressive or that he should work with everyone. But let's be honest, how many projects has Kingibe attracted to the FCT since she got there? The minister is not perfect but at least he is doing something. Am I the only one that thinks this is just politics and she should focus on her job instead of media runs?
