VMAs drop Afrobeats category and una dey quiet? Make I talk am

So MTV just quietly removed the Best Afrobeats category from the VMAs after introducing it in 2023. Nobody even dey talk about am because we dey too busy fighting over Wizkid vs Davido again. The audacity to give us a table and then snatch it back like we never existed.

I can't with this industry sometimes. We celebrate am when they finally recognised us, now they're acting like Afrobeats is just a phase. Meanwhile our artists dey sell out arenas worldwide. Make I hear your take, is this a big deal or we just don't care anymore?
