VMAs Dey Play With Our Afrobeats Category Like Jollof Rice

So MTV just quietly remove the Best Afrobeats category from the VMAs after introducing it in 2023. The audacity! They gave us one season of shine and now they want to collect the trophy back like we no notice.

As a girl wey don watch Burna Boy and Wizkid represent us on those international stages, this one dey pain me. Na only us dem go do like this? When they create a category for another genre, dem no dey remove am.

Abeg, una think say na because our artists dey too dominate? Or na because the category no get enough international support? God when??
