Naija, wetin dey happen to our children sef? One 52-year-old "teacher" wey dem hire to teach a 13-year-old pupil, instead na im own pikin dem go abuse. And another 42-year-old father wey reportedly rape im own 15-year-old daughter for Edo. Two separate cases, same week, same state. If the people wey suppose protect our pikin na dem dey destroy them, wetin remain for us to trust? The police don remand dem for Benin correctional centre, but the real question na , how many of these cases dey hide for our neighborhoods, for our own families, wey nobody ever report? Make we talk am: na only punishment we need, or we need to start holding our community and institutions accountable for failing these children?
