Sheikh Daurawa just called out Jingir on Muslim-Muslim ticket for 2027
2 months ago
Sheikh Aminu Ibrahim Daurawa has openly countered Sheikh Sani Jingir over the Muslim-Muslim ticket talk for 2027, and honestly this is the kind of sense we need more of. He said it plainly during a DW interview yesterday: politics should not be about religion but about who can actually work, what the person is capable of doing, and what they have done. He even asked if INEC has ever registered any party as Islamic or Christian, or if any party has a religious manifesto. That question alone should make some people pause.
I know some people will say he is betraying the North or weakening our bargaining power, but let us be real. We have seen where this religious sentiment has taken us, and it is not good governance. He also reminded us that Nigerians have sense and should judge candidates by their records, not their faith. And he told our young people to drop drugs and violence and participate peacefully. That is the full package of wisdom right there.
So my question is, are we truly ready to vote for competence over religion in 2027, or are we still going to let them use God to divide us while they share the money? Be honest.
