Another Friday, another village razed, another 32 souls gone in Sokoto. They came on motorcycles, hit the mosque during Juma'at, killed the Imam, and blocked the escape route like it was a military operation. Meanwhile, our leaders are busy talking about budgets while families in Kebbe are still searching for missing relatives in the ashes. How many more villages must we bury before we stop pretending this is just "banditry" and start asking why the state seems helpless?
