Rant about law school

Lecturers sell you books that are poorly written and published. This particular professor takes a couple of courses and made us buy his books for each course he teaches and even some other courses he is not teaching. No problem, everyone is hustling.

But these books make studying difficult, some of these books have spelling errors and formatting errors (like you'll randomly see italics and even upside-down characters while reading, which messes with your brain).

Statutes are mixed up, so you have to double-confirm before making a note of anything, like one paragraph referred to s36(12) to outs customary law in commercial matters, instead of criminal matters, sigh.

There is no table of contents, and you have to flip through each chapter to find what you're looking for.

And the writing is just so scattered; for example, pg 4 can be discussing mediation process , then you'll suddenly see something random like proceedings before the high court for like the next 2 pages. Then it will go back to mediation. Like, how are we supposed to comprehend such😭😭

Let's not even talk about the appearance of the books; pages are coming loose just from flipping it, and some of them look like it was squeezed and it was wrongly tried to iron, idek at this point.
