Nigerians are being locked up for weeks not for fraud but because somebody claims they owe money, and the anti-graft agency is happy to play recovery agent while courts and lawyers watch. If the EFCC can detain a man for 72 days over a civil dispute, what exactly is left of the rule of law in this country?
