My best friend of 15 years blocked me over ₦400k and I still can't explain it to myself

It started with a skincare brand. Last year November, I got the biggest deal of my career. Six figures. I screamed. First person I called was Kemi, my childhood friend from Mushin. She had been my unofficial assistant for months, helping me shoot content on her phone, carrying my bags at events, editing on CapCut till 3am.

I paid her ₦400k. I thought that was fair. She went off.

The truth? I should have put our agreement in writing. Money and friendship don't mix unless you define the terms early. I learned that the hard way.
