Saw somebody say average Nigerian can live on N3,000 daily. I actually ran the calculation. Not to argue, just to see the numbers.

Breakfast: bread and egg, ₦1,200 if you buy the small loaf. Transport to work and back: ₦1,500 minimum, assuming you no enter one chance bus. That leaves ₦300 for lunch, dinner, data, and your entire existence. Correlation is not causation but poverty definitely is.

The part nobody says out loud, that ₦3,000 assumes you have free accommodation, free electricity, free water, and no family member calling you for school fees. My guys in Yaba are laughing. So who exactly is this average Nigerian? Because I want to meet am.
