Peter Obi Says Release My FBI File, Reno Omokri Where You Dey?

Peter Obi has come out swinging at Reno Omokri over this FBI records allegation and honestly the response is more interesting than the original claim. Omokri went on the City Boy Movement Podcast last week and said all the 2027 presidential candidates have records with the FBI, including Obi, though he admitted it may not be a criminal record. So he is basically saying something and saying nothing at the same time.

Obi was in Washington DC and he did not dodge. He said, "I don't even know who the FBI is. If they have found any files about me, I don't know. I have not met with any FBI. It is Reno Omokri and the FBI people that met." Then he added the part that should worry anybody who has something to hide: "If I have an FBI file which I'm not aware of, it is time for them to bring it to the public." A man asking for his own file to be released is either very clean or very reckless, and I know which one I am betting on.

But here is my problem with this whole circus. Omokri says he can prove all the candidates have FBI records, not just Obi. So where are the other names? Why is it only Obi's file that is trending? If this is about transparency, release everybody's file, Bola Tinubu's, Atiku's, all of them, and let us see who is actually clean. Be honest, is this really about accountability or is it just 2027 politics wearing an FBI costume?
