Wike Says Only Tinubu Can Question Him, And He Is Not Lying

Nyesom Wike said on Arise TV Tuesday night that the only person who can question him is President Tinubu. He said it plainly, "The only person that can question me is the President." He was defending his role in the Rainbow Coalition after the Progressive Governors Forum led by Hope Uzodimma came out against any alliance they fear could hurt Tinubu's 2027 bid.

Here is the part nobody wants to admit: Wike is right about the Abuja crowd. "People just sit down in Abuja for two months, go home, spend two days and come back to Abuja. That's not service to the nation at all," he said. Which governor is going to argue with that? Most of them cannot win their own local government, but they will sit in a forum and lecture a man who has never lost his ward.

He also said, "I can convince my people even though I am not the governor." Say what you like about the man, he built that structure with his own hands in Rivers. So when Uzodimma's forum starts talking about who can and cannot form coalition, I just laugh. Is it because Wike is not in their party chairman's pocket? Be honest, if Wike was still in PDP would they be this loud?
