This American beef talk is giving me anxiety I didn't budget for

So I'm scrolling, minding my business, and I see Sanusi talking about how we've opened our beef market to American beef and it's going to wipe out livestock. The quote is "We have now opened our beef market to American beef, that's going to wipe out livestock." And I'm just sitting here like... okay but has anybody considered the price of suya??

Because the math is not mathing. If American beef enters, does the suya man reduce his price? Or does he just start calling it 'premium imported beef' and charge me ₦3,500 for three sticks? We know how this country works. Nothing gets cheaper. They just rebrand it and add 'luxury' to the name.
