Wike Says Obi and Atiku Won Only in Their Imagination

Nyesom Wike came on TVC's Journalists Hangout on Monday and dismissed Peter Obi and Atiku's 2023 win in Rivers State as something that only happened in their imagination.

He said, "They won in their imagination. Nobody declared them to have won." He also asked how shouting Obi at Timber Market translates to winning across over 7,000 polling units in 23 local government areas. Then he dropped the line that got me: this 2027 election will be his easiest yet, after winning 2015 and 2019 when soldiers and federal might were against him.

The man has a point about results versus social media noise, but calling any Rivers election easy is bold talk. What is he presenting to Rivers people that makes following him better than what they have today?
