I just come back from Ariaria market where I see something wey make me laugh and cry at the same time. A young boy, maybe 19, was selling phone chargers and earpieces from a small wooden box on his head. He no get shop, no get generator, just him and his box. But the way he dey calculate profit for head when customer dey price am, chai! I stand there dey watch am like film.

He buy one charger for ₦800, sell for ₦1,500. Earpiece buy for ₦1,200, sell for ₦2,500. In one hour, I count say he don sell like 12 pieces. That na over ₦10,000 profit. No rent, no NEPA bill, no tax. Just pure hustle. I ask am how e take start, he say na his uncle give am ₦15,000 two months ago. Now e dey save to rent a small shop for Bakassi.

See my brother, we dey complain say Nigeria hard, but this boy no send. He just dey move. The thing wey pain me be say many of us get more capital but we dey wait for perfect condition. Wetin you dey do with your own small change? Abi you dey wait for salary?
