A governor walked into a security facility and counted corpses on the floor, blood running from noses and mouths, burns and cuts on bodies , that is not an accident, that is a pattern Nigerians already know too well. If 37 people can be beaten to death over illegal mining, ask yourself what happens to the ones whose deaths never make the news. When will we admit that "illegal" has become the licence this country uses to kill the poor without consequence?
