67.4% of Nigerians rejected Tinubu's fuel policy, Atiku has spoken

Atiku Abubakar has reacted to that SBM Intelligence survey showing 67.4 per cent of Nigerians rejected President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's fuel subsidy policy. The former VP said through his media aide Phrank Shaibu on Tuesday that the figure is not just an economic statistic, it is a democratic question. "When an overwhelming majority of Nigerians declare that a government policy is destroying their lives, responsible leadership must listen," Atiku said.

But make we talk true, wetin concern me with survey? I buy pepper, tomato, and small bag of rice for Balogun market yesterday, the money I carry go don finish before I reach Mile 12. That is my own survey. Atiku said three and a half years of "subsidy is gone" experiment don scatter transport, food prices, and small businesses. I no need economist to tell me that one, my market ledger don tell me already.

Tinubu on the other side is insisting that bringing back the subsidy go mean more hardship for Nigerians. So both sides are saying hardship, just different hardship. My question na this, if 67.4 per cent reject the policy, who exactly is the 32.6 per cent wey still dey support am? Abeg make una tell me because I never meet one for my market.
