Thirty-seven people arrested over illegal mining ended up dead in NSCDC custody, and the government's answer is a 10-member panel with two weeks to tell us what we already suspect. Suspending the commandant after the bodies drop is not accountability, it is damage control.Will anyone actually go to jail, or will this panel also end with a report nobody reads?
