Alex Otti Is Quietly Betraying The Man Who Made Him Governor

Theo Abu Agada of the NDC came for Alex Otti today and honestly, he has a point that nobody in Abia wants to hear. Agada said on X that Otti was the biggest beneficiary of Peter Obi's wave in 2023, and that if for nothing else, he owes Obi.

Think about it. In 2023 the same wave that carried Obi across the South East is the same wave that put Otti in Government House Umuahia. Now he is out here backing Tinubu's reforms that are choking the same people who queued for him. Agada did not mince words, he wrote that by supporting Tinubu's anti-people reforms, Otti is endorsing Tinubu for a second term and is an enemy of the Nigerian people.

Some of you will say governance is not gratitude, that Otti should work with whoever is in Aso Rock to bring things to Abia. Fine. But be honest, if Peter Obi's name was not on that ballot in 2023, would Otti be governor today? Let's argue this.
