Atiku Says Tinubu Borrows Like Shark, Debt Now N166.79 Trillion

Atiku Abubakar has come out to say President Bola Tinubu government is one of the most ruinous Nigeria ever see, and the man is talking about the borrowing. He said in a statement signed by Phrank Shaibu, the ADC campaign spokesman, that the debt was N49.85 trillion in March 2023 but by June 30 2026, Debt Management Office put it at N166.79 trillion.

Atiku wrote, "A government that says more money is coming in must explain why it keeps borrowing and why the people paying for its policies cannot see the promised gains." He also said the Tinubu economy is producing two Nigerias, one where citizens are suffocating under food, fuel, transport and electricity costs, and another where the rich are protecting their fortunes.

Me I am just a trader in Kano, when I buy one bag of textile the price has changed by the time I sell. So when government tells us revenue is rising, I want to ask, rising for who? Be honest, is it only me that cannot see this promised gain?
