APC Calls Atiku 'Danger To Nigeria' And I'm Tired Of This Movie

The APC came out on their X handle on Thursday to warn Nigerians that Atiku Abubakar is a danger to the country ahead of 2027, and honestly, this is the same film we've been watching since 2003. They dragged up the Mambilla Hydroelectric Power Project, the $500,000 payment from Leno Adesanya of Sunrise Power to Jennifer Douglas, Atiku's wife at the time, the Siemens scandal, the William Jefferson case, PTDF funds, all of it. APC said "Atiku is a danger to Nigeria. Nigerians must keep him away from the national treasury."

But here's my problem. APC is the same party that has been in power since 2015. If Atiku's record is that bad and they knew it, why are we only hearing it when 2027 is around the corner? The man they should be warning us about is the one currently presiding over the economy that has pepper soup at N3,500 in Balogun. If APC wants to talk about danger to Nigeria, they should start with the exchange rate, not Atiku's file from 2003.

Some people will say I'm supporting corruption by questioning the timing. I'm not. I'm saying if you're going to accuse someone of destroying the economy, you should at least not be the person currently destroying it. Am I the only one that thinks both sides are just fighting over who gets to chop?
