Been arguing with my guy since yesterday over this Wizkid vs Davido thing and I finally said it out loud. Davido has more songs that will still be played at weddings in ten years. That's the metric. Not vibes. Not aesthetics. Longevity at owambe.

Before una come for my neck, hear me out. I no dey talk about who is bigger or who has more money. I'm talking strictly catalogue. The kind of song wey your aunty and your small cousin can both sing word for word. Wizkid is a genius, no doubt. But genius and replay value at a Lagos wedding are two different things.
