My cousin returned the money after 7 years and I don't know how to feel

Seven years ago my cousin took ₦450,000 from me. Money I saved for my shop. He said two weeks. Two weeks became seven years. Wallahi I had given up on that money.

Yesterday he came to my house in Kano. He sat down. He brought out an envelope. He said 'Amina I know I wrong you. This is your money.' I opened it. ₦450,000. Same amount. Not one naira more.

I collected it and I thanked him. But inside me something is not settled. Seven years. That money would have done something for me then. Now it is just money. He is my blood so I cannot shout. But I am asking myself, if he knew it was wrong, why did he wait until now?
