My grandmother called me on Tuesday. Just to say the roof of her kitchen don start to leak. She didn't ask for money. She never asks. She just mentioned it the way old people mention things, like she's talking to herself.

I sent her ₦40k that same night. That's like $30. Nothing. But I sat there after the transfer and just stared at my phone.
