Nigerian aunties and the art of the unsolicited WhatsApp broadcast

My aunty sent me a broadcast this morning. It was a picture of a goat wearing sunglasses with the caption 'Good morning my darling, may you not be disgraced like this goat amen.'

I am 23. I have a job. I pay rent. And yet every single morning I must receive a goat, a flower, or a Bible verse with a lion in it. If I don't reply 'Amen' within 10 minutes, she calls my mother. My mother then calls me to ask why I am disrespecting the family.

The goat was not even in distress. He was just vibing in the sun. Shey this is the spiritual warfare we are fighting??
