I have sat in enough HR offices in this city to know one thing. The Abuja woman will carry her husband's name through fire and still show up to work on Monday looking like nothing happened.

From where I sit in Wuse, the Lagos wife is loud and proud, the Kaduna wife is quiet and dangerous, but the Abuja wife? That woman will manage a whole parastatal, raise three children, and still remember to send her mother-in-law Ramadan greetings before her own husband remembers. Wallahi, I have seen it.

But here is my honest counsel. Loyalty is not the same thing as silence. The Abuja woman will not shout, but she will also not forget. And one day she will pack her bag quietly and everyone will be shocked. So which one is better? The wife who fights loudly every week or the wife who says nothing for ten years and then leaves?
