My Uber Driver Cried In Traffic And I Have Never Recovered

Two weeks ago I was going to a shoot in Ikoyi, running late as usual. This Uber guy picked me around 7am, quiet guy, face like stone. We enter Third Mainland and traffic just lock.

Out of nowhere he started crying. Not small tears. Real tears, both hands still on the wheel. I froze. He said his daughter just got into LASU to study Law and he cannot afford the fees. He drives 14 hours a day and still comes up short. He said the girl is the first person in his family to enter university.

I paid him extra, gave him my card, told him to bring her CV when she graduates. Small help, but he held my hand like I gave him a million naira. Some people are carrying loads we cannot see. Who is the strongest person you know that is quietly breaking inside?
