If you no dey gree say Wizkid pass Davido lyrically, you just dey follow crowd

Someone argued with me last night say Davido get more hits than Wizkid. I just laugh. Hits no be the same thing as craft. Davido na vibe machine, no doubt, the man sabi make you dance. But Wizkid? That man dey paint with sound. Listen to the way he stacks harmonies on 'Essence' and tell me Davido has ever done that dimension of work.

I ran the numbers in my head. Wizkid features carry weight because he elevates the track. Davido features carry energy because he matches the track. One is architecture, the other is adrenaline. Both valid, but only one leaves something behind after the party ends. My guy said I'm overthinking it. Of course I am, that's the point.

Now I'm not saying Davido no get classics. 'Fall' is a classic, no debate. But if we talking body of work, consistency of sound, and the ability to make afrobeats sound expensive? Wizkid wins that round every time. So who exactly is Davido beating lyrically? Abeg, make somebody explain am to me.
