Baba-Ahmed Warns: Don't Touch Northern Votes If We Reject Tinubu

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the PRP National Chairman, has issued a direct warning ahead of 2027: if the North rejects President Bola Tinubu and the APC, nobody should try to manipulate or overturn those votes. He said this in a statement he signed, and the language was not soft at all.

Baba-Ahmed did not stop there. He accused the government of thinking it can pay northerners to forget the humiliation and lack of care they have suffered under Tinubu. In his words: “If we decide not to support the APC or Tinubu, no one should try to change the result of the election.” He insisted northern voters will defend their dignity and make their voices heard.

This is coming after Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna and Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano both said Tinubu will get massive votes from the North in 2027. So we have two governors promising one thing and a party chairman warning the other way.
