If your partner still has their ex's number saved, you're not overreacting. You're just paying attention.

My friend checked her boyfriend's phone last week and saw his ex saved as 'Adebimpe (work)'. Work?? The same Adebimpe that used to post him every Valentine's. Shey you dey whine me?

I told her the thing is not even the number. It's the lie attached to it. If you have to rename a person to keep them in your contacts, you already know what you're doing. No cap, that's not 'just being friendly', that's strategy.

And before anybody comes for me, I'm not saying you can't be cordial with an ex. But saving them under a fake name? That's not cordial, that's covert. So tell me, would you rather your partner keep an ex's number saved normally or hide it under a fake name? Cos one of those is actually honest.
