Baba-Ahmed Says North Will Resist Tinubu's Vote-Buying Plot In 2027

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the PRP National Chairman, went on Channels TV 'Politics Today' on Tuesday and warned President Bola Tinubu and the APC that the North will resist any vote-buying plot in 2027. He said supporters of Tinubu are underestimating Northern voters and asked what campaign leaders will tell people in Zamfara, Kebbi, Sokoto, Katsina, Borno, Yobe, Kwara, Kaduna, Plateau, Kogi and Nasarawa.

His exact words were, "We know they will share money that has never been seen distributed in politics. Their problem is undermining the northerners. We will show them that we too are citizens whose voices and dignity matter." He also warned nobody should try to manipulate or overturn the outcome if the North rejects Tinubu and the APC in 2027.

I am from the North and I can tell you the humiliation and neglect people feel under this administration is real. But let us be honest, is it only the North that has suffered? The whole country is tired. So when Baba-Ahmed frames this as a Northern resistance, does he speak for all of us or just for a section? Let's argue this.
