My roommate finished the garri and I swear I nearly cried

I came back from the library around 8pm, tired, hungry, already calculating how the remaining 700 naira would carry me till Friday. My roommate was sitting on his bed, looking too satisfied. The garri bag was flat. Not low. Flat.

I asked him what happened. He said and I quote, "I was hungry bro, I only took small." Small. The same guy who bought suya on Monday. I just stood there and laughed because what else can you do? We've been friends since 100L but this garri situation has tested our bond more than any exam.

I ended up drinking water and sleeping. Woke up this morning and he had bought bread and egg for both of us. No apology, just the food on my table. That's how guys dey do. But I'm still keeping my own garri inside my locker from now on. Trust don reduce small.
