Why every Nigerian wedding must have that one uncle who wants to fight

I went to my cousin's wedding last Saturday for Aba. Beautiful ceremony, correct aso-ebi, jollof that made you want to slap the caterer for not giving you enough. Everything was going well until the reception reached the part where they call family members to dance.

Next thing, my uncle from the village grabbed the microphone from the MC and started announcing that the bride's family had not treated him well. He said they gave him a seat at the back and he is the eldest man in our lineage. The man was shouting, people were holding him, the bride was crying, DJ stopped the music. All because of seating arrangement. Seating arrangement! In a wedding that cost over ₦8 million.

My people, why is it that every Nigerian wedding must produce one uncle who turns a happy day into a family tribunal? Is it in the constitution? Abi na the same jollof wey dey cause am? I need answers because I have three more weddings to attend this December and I am already tired.
