Wizkid's music is background noise for rich people, Davido makes you feel something

My guy played Wizkid at a rooftop thing in VI last weekend and I swear the whole place was just vibing politely. Like everyone was nodding but nobody was actually feeling it. Then somebody switched to Davido and the same people started shouting the lyrics like their lives depended on it.

I ran the calculation in my head. Wizkid makes music for people who own the club. Davido makes music for people who are trying to forget they paid ₦1,360 for a bottle of water. The numbers don't lie.

Wizkid is technically superior, I will give him that. But music is not a mathematics exam. Davido's voice cracks and he still makes you scream the chorus. That is a different dimension entirely. So who is actually the bigger artist, the one you respect or the one you feel?
